Mysteries and murders follow Bizzy and her assistant, Jacko, even when they are just taking pictures for their clients. When they arrive to photograph the new artist in town, Rafael, they find him dead and become persons of interest. Will they untangle the mess before the police? With lots of suspects and a second murder the plot is full of action which keeps the reader turning the pages. Bizzy and Jacko still have time for pet portraits with amusing antics from the pets. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Sandart -- Cosy : I enjoyed this second in a series mystery featuring Bizzy Devlin, a photographer who is branching out to include pet portraits. I like the growing relationship between Bizzy and her assistant, Jacko. I am sure this can function as a standalone, but it is nice to know some of the background. Bizzy is still getting over the death of her husband. She used to be a crime scene photographer, which lends some credibility to her mystery solving. If you like non gory mysteries, animals and cosy beach towns give this series a try. Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this book that I am voluntarily reviewing. There were so many nasty comments in the book, I had no problem putting this down seven times, when I normally can read through. I could not relate to the so called dog hero. She found the body. This was a fun, quick read. No bad language or sex. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. It can be enjoyed as a stand alone. The author briefly touches on her back story just enough to inform the reader but not loose the flow of the story. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
